LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF!

Many of people want to lose weight and keep it off, other are simply just beginning on their journey.  Some people deal with anxiety of their weight and become depressed, which i have to say was one of my situations.  If you wanna adopt a healthier lifestyle and be able to change your weight it will have it's ups and downs.  Everyone can achieve it. 

If going to do this you must wanna do it for you and only you.  That would be your first step in your journey.  If you wanna lose it because someone makes rude comment about your weight, or your family is pressuring you.  I know it's easier said than done, but i was one of those people in that situation.

Start planning for just about everything and start now, the longer you wait the more unhealthy you will be.  Plan all your meals, your daily exercises and how you will handle food situations.  For instance going out with a friend to eat.  Even when falter you should have a plan, just keep that in mind.  As a person who succeed at a healthier lifestyle today, i still am confronted with the same situations.  But i always think to myself that i have come this far and i will not fall victim to these situations.  Part of planning will be to set a realistic goal.  So have a realistic goal of losing weight of 2 pounds a week. 

Keeping in on your food journal to monitor your progress and your set backs.  For the first couple of weeks keep a daily food journal to record what food, how much, when and where you eat as well as monitoring your hunger level and moods before and after.  This will boost your awareness and keep you focused on your goals and give you your own feedback.  Always be honest and consistent with what you write in your journal. 

Emotional issues such as stress, anxiety and depression are the number one predictor of relapses.  Using your diet journal, look at your high risk situations and develop a plan for them.  Write something like the date, day.  The time, food, beverage, portion size, hunger level, where and your feelings before and after.

Exercise will be important for you as well.  Did you know that Successful weight losers are very active.  A week in activity is equal to walking four miles everyday.  But you don't have to begin your program with much exercise, most people like myself didn't start at a high level.  Increase slowly, so by the time you reached your goal, you would be very active and maintain it.

Eating Clean Foods

Many of us have probably taken living in a healthy lifestyle for granted or even life it self, i know because i use to be one of the people who did.  But what if you could change all that and be more healthy today. What if you could eat more and lose weight, become more healthy and have the best body you ever had.  Would you do it?

A lot of the answer to a healthy life style is really just staring right at you, it's been like that your entire life.  The answer is right in the kitchen and in your stomach.  Your answer would be food!  Clean, whole, natural earthy food.  To eat clean is to change once and for all the way you are eating.  The way to become healthy.

Your body needs fuel, eat more and eat more often.  Eating more encourages the metabolism to do its job of burning fat more efficiently.  Even more so eating the right foods helps even better.  It really all comes down to you and everthing is in your own hands.  The ideal foods for eating is a combination of lean protien and complex carbs.  If you dont know about great clean foods to eat you could learn from here.  But i will give you alittle break down of it.

Your complex carbs come from fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains.  Lean protien foods come from whole grains like quinoa, sea vegetables, egg whites, chicken breast, beef and fish.  Those are all clean foods to eat.  Those are the combination you should fuel your body with.

Drink more water.  Water does wonders for your shape and your skin.  Chances is that you're probably dehydrated at the moment.  Don't wait to get thirsty.  Drinking lots of water is a must.  Our body is made up of mostly water and drinking lots of water hydrates the body, cleans it from toxins, lubricates, and cools it down. 

Sugar!  It would be a best time for you to cut down on the sugar.  Also cut down on sodium, and other chemicals too.  Foods that are loaded with saturated fats and trans fat gunks up our pipes and make us sick.  This would included doughnuts, marshmallow, sodas, bacon, cereals that pack some sugar, fruit juices, fake fruit drinks, basically junk foods.

If you wanna take the first step in to a healthy lifestyle start packing up clean eating foods, it will save you from the really nasty foods.  This will be critical to your success.  The more you stick to wholesome foods, the healthier, leaner and happier you will be.

Eating to Beat Stress

FEEDING YOUR EMOTIONS COULD BE A GOOD THING!


  If you heard about stress eating being a bad thing, think again.  If you put the right food in your body, when your nerves are noshing on your cravings, it can actually calm you dawn.  That's great news!  Because the last thing you need in your life is more stress.  Overtime stress can increase your risk of high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity.  The odds are that you'll go ballistic on your family when they ask, for the third time, what your doing with your time and living.  Easy to find foods can soothe stress and can counteract the damage, chronic pressure does to your body.  Stock on them so that when your tension is rising you can have a mourning mellow meal and eat instead of freak.

     Nuts like Almonds, pistachios and walnuts burst with vitamins and antioxidant that bolsters the immune system.  Which will help your body hold up during unpleasant events ( like renewing a membership a gym ).  A 1/4 cup a day is all you need.  These nuts will help keep your heart from racing When things heat up.  People experience immediate cardiovascular responses to stress because of the fight or flight response.  When stress strikes, the hormone adrenaline raises the blood pressure to boost energy, so your prepared to run like hell if you need to.  Some people seldom need to fight or flee, it's better to blunt the strain in your heart.  Eating a 1/4 cup of these nuts a day, lowers blood pressure so your heart doesn't have to work overtime.

     Avocados, Fat-Free Milk and Oatmeal are also good for that morning mellow meal that's easy to find.  If stress has you craving for a high fat, creamy treat, skip the ice creamand try some good-o- homemade guacamole.  The thick, rich texture can satisfy your craving and reduce those frantic feelings.  That green wonder has a double dutch whammy of monosaturated fat and potassium, which lowers blood pressure.So if you have high blood pressure, just a half of an avocado will help.  A glass of fat-free milk warm is a remedy that could be of some use to your body for insomnia and restlessness.  Calcium can reduce muscle spasms and soothe tension.  That good old moo juice could also reduce stressful PMS symptoms like mood swings, anxiety and irritability.  40%  of women who drink fat-free milk, lower the risk of pre-period misery than women who had no more than one serving a week.  Oatmeal, which has carbs so the brain can produce more serotonin,  the same relaxing brain chemical release when you eat dark chocolate.  the slower your body adsorbs carbs, the more steady serotonin flows.  Thick hearty oatmeal is high in fiber, few things take longer for your stomach to digest.

     These are just some things to look foward to when your feeling stressed and you wanna feed your emotions.  Forget everything you heard about stress eating being a bad thing.  Think positve!  Eating the right food could easily put back in the right move.  It's just a hop, skip and away.

Weight Loss: Workouts to fit any schedule

There would be nothing worse than wasting time in a frustrating time crushers.  Things like restroom lines or even traffic.  When it come to weight loss and fitness, you could greatly benefit from exercise sessions of any length.  Even if you have a couple of minutes or just 60 minutes.  Thats only if know how to maximize your time and organize your workouts. 

If you have 10 mins, that would be a workout quickie.  10 mins might seem fast or even worth your efforts.  You can still get results if you know what your doing. That 10 mins will help you build a solid fitness foundation.  Within that 10 mins you could work every major muscle group on your body.

When you have a short amount of time the trick is to intensify your workout to achieve the best results.  The reason this will work is because you'll spike your metabolism so you can even lose calories after your workout.

Change your muscle routine, it will keep your body from adapting and make it work harder.  Up your cardio intensity and listen in on your heart rate.  Be sure to create at lest six to eight move circuit that will combine strength, cardio and stretching.

A great workout would be this:  mountain climbers T, burpee pushups, Ballet squats, lunges, running in place and jumping knee tap an touch.  If done in a superset with little rest.  It will definately be of good value.
